Everyone gets on Kylie Jenner and Tyga‘s case for their supposed romantic relationship because, if it’s true, then it could be deemed as illegal, depending on which state/country you’re in. In some areas, the 17-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is considered a minor and, therefore, has not reached the age of consent to be with the 25-year-old rapper. So it’s a pretty similar situation to that of Bella Thorne and rumored boyfriend Gregg Sulkin‘s.
The former Shake It Up! star, who turned 17 this past October, recently confirmed that she is “dating” and the person who she’s dating is “pretty obvious.” The obvious assumption: the 23-year-old former Wizards of Waverly Place star.

The age of consent in Florida, where Bella is from, is 18, but 16- and 17-year-olds can consent to having sex with someone age 16 to 23. The age of consent in California is also 18, and it is “illegal for anyone to engage in sexual intercourse with a minor (someone under the age of 18), unless they are that person’s spouse.” In London, though, where Gregg is from, the age of consent is 16, in which case they’d be completely in the clear.
While it’s not entirely confirmed that Bella and Gregg are even dating, let alone going further than that, it’s still something to think (and be very careful) about. Stay safe, guys!
