The Disney Channel has lost yet another favorite. Just a few short months after the death of The Suite Life on Deck‘s Windell D. Middlebrooks, it’s reported that creator of Shake It Up! Chris Thompson has also shockingly passed away.
According to director/producer Lyndall Hobbs, Chris’ ex-wife, the 63-year-old SIU! founder was discovered unconscious by a caregiver at actor Tim Curry‘s (Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, Charlie’s Angels) home on Friday night. So far, cause of death is unknown, but an autopsy is currently being performed. Nevertheless, the producers and young cast members of his hit Disney Channel show expressed their condolences across social media:
