Every girl should feel like a celebrity on her prom night. For all the hours we spend finding the dream dress, applying party-perfect makeup, styling a flawless up-do, prom preparation is a real process, and by the time it’s all said and done, we deserve to have our red-carpet moments. Move over, Jennifer Lawrence!
Prom’s super exciting because when else do we get to spend hundreds of dollars to look like royalty? But actual celebs are accustomed to getting glammed up all the time. Awards shows, movie premieres, blah blah blah. And some stars who become famous at a young enough age even get to attend prom in addition to all those crazy A-list events. Shailene does a great job of keeping her private life private, so we love when she opens up and reveals some personal secrets! One of them: She revealed in an interview that she rented her high school prom dress for $60! The floor-length white dress had a silk bodice and a full tulle skirt — and looked way more expensive than it actually was. She could've afforded to actually buy a dress, since she was already starring on The Secret Life of the American Teenager. but we love that she went the thriftier route.

Can you imagine showing up at prom after the whole world knows you as "Shark Boy" from Shark Boy and Lava Girl? But Taylor's known for being a goofball, so he probably just laughed it off. Also important: His prom hairstyle was a spiky 'do that extended, like, six inches up in the air.
