Over the past month or so, she broke up with longtime boyfriend Gregg Sulkin, came out as bisexual once snapshots of her kissing best friend Bella Pendergast made their way to Snapchat AND got herself a new bae… in the form of Tyler Posey! Just when you think she’s done making your jaw drop, she finds another way to make headlines. And, this time, it opened up an important discussion.
Recently, Twitter user @jeffhightower prompted Bella with the following question (edited for grammar): “No disrespect, but how can you be bisexual if you’ve never been sexually active with another girl?” The user quickly added, “Although, I’m quite proud of your braveness.”
The 18-year-old Shake It Up! alum followed it up with a simple response:

That is very true — just because Bella’s public dating history only includes members of the male species doesn’t mean that she hasn’t engaged in sexual activities with members of the female variety. But, even disregarding that, B’s comment also addressed a common misconception, which other twitter users were happy to jump on:

Be mindful, bisexuality is romantic attraction, sexual attraction or sexual behavior toward both males and females. It does not necessarily mean that you have to act on any of it.

She said so in her single, "Cool for the Summer" — "got a taste for the cherry," "I'm a little curious, too," think about it...
So, what's the deal? She said on Alan Carr: Chatty Man, "I am not confirming and I'm definitely not denying. All of my songs are based off of personal experiences. I don't think there's anything wrong with experimentation at all."
She continued to add that her experimentation, in her own words, "stuck" with her.

In recent interviews, the former Wizards of Waverly Place star inferred that she's, at the very least, bi-curious. She told PrideSource in October 2015, "I think it's healthy to gain a perspective… question yourself and challenge yourself."
