Bella Thorne Lands YA Book Deal for ‘Autumn Falls’

Never pictured us ever saying anything like this, but Bella Thorne‘s following in Jason Segel‘s footsteps. Earlier this week, the How I Met Your Mother actor announced that his YA book series, Nightmares!, would be published through Random House later this year. Now, the Shake It Up! actress is mimicking his actions, and inking her own deal with the same publishing house.

Yup, Bella’s sold her YA series, Autumn Falls, to Random House Children’s Books. According to The Hollywood Reporter, “the series tells the story of a 14-year-old girl whose life is transformed after an encounter with magic.”

The 15-year-old says of the first novel, “This book, although mysterious and magical, is inspired by different aspects of my personal life, which I hold very near and dear to my heart. I wanted to write a book that teens could relate to, but with a little bit of magic.”

For such a young star, she is on a serious roll. Not only is she going to be a published author, but she’s also the star of a hit Disney Channel series, and she recently signed with Hollywood Records, the same label that kickstarted the music careers of the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, and her SIU counterpart, Zendaya Coleman.
