We don’t know about you, but we are excited to say bye-bye to 2017. It has been a totally garbage year for love, and that’s saying something. We have tried to stay positive and focus on all the happy engagement announcements and incredible weddings, but the bad always seems to outweigh the good.
Chris Pratt and Anna Faris weren’t the only married couple to announce their divorce and we can’t help but cry over all the couples who will never make it down the aisle. As if seeing some of our favorite couples breakup wasn’t bad enough, there’s also been a TON of cheating scandals this year. From comedians to YouTubers, we have lost our hope in love in 2017:
Eniko Parrish & Kevin Hart
This news was super surprising because not only did Kevin's wife, Eniko, just give birth, but he's the one who revealed his cheating past!
Kevin posted an emotional video to Instagram of him apologizing to his then-pregnant wife and children, promising to do better. The apology came after an alleged extortion attempt that claimed that there was "sexually provocative" video of Kevin.
Although he never came right out and said that he cheated on his wife, he did say, "I made a bad error in judgement and I put myself in a bad environment where only bad things can happen and they did," which is basically the same thing.

Dayna Frazer & Dylan Sprouse
The Disney Channel alum landed in hot water after his girlfriend of three years posted a photo to her Instagram stories of her crying with the caption, "When you find out your bf cheated on you lol."
It didn't take long for Dayna to unfollow Dylan and delete all pics of him from her social media, and Dylan went as far as to delete negative comments people were leaving on his pictures.
Although Dayna hasn't elaborated on the claim, Dylan did send out a series of tweets that basically say he didn't cheat. Okay, then.

Bella Thorne & Charlie Puth
This is a confusing situation. Although the alleged cheating happened at the end of December 2016, Bella finally addressed the rumors this year. Bella dated Tyler Posey publicly, but the couple didn't announce the breakup to the world. She soon began talking to Charlie Puth, who apparently saw an old article about her and the Teen Wolf star and flipped the eff out on Twitter.
Bella did go on to give Charlie the benefit of the doubt, saying, "In Charlie's defense, when he read it, not reading the date, it sounded like it was about me and Ty still being together. He didn't even text me or talk to me about it." So it was all a big misunderstanding, but still caused some serious drama.

Alissa Violet & Jake Paul
This is another situation that is all he-said, she-said. Before Alissa left Jake's infamous Team 10, Jake claimed that he asked her to leave the house because she cheated on him. Alissa then went on to say that Jalissa was NEVER real and that she had to see Jake have "girl after girl over every other night" and that she cried herself to sleep. The two have been targeting each other ever since and we don't know if we'll ever know what really happened.

Tessa Brooks & Chance Sutton
There's always drama in the Team 10 house, so we shouldn't be that surprised that there were two cheating scandals this year. Chessa was a fan-favorite ship and we all freaked out when the two got together IRL.
Everything went downhill after Chance was hacked and incriminating photos and conversations were released that alleged that Chance cheated on Tessa. Yikes.

Arzaylea & Luke Hemmings
After dating for two-ish years, the couple called it quits in April. Fans assumed that the social-media star cheated, allegedly hooking up with Blackbear while she was with the 5SOS hottie. Even Blackbear recently said in an interview that he has been dating Arzaylea on and off for a few years.
Since then, Arzaylea has accused Luke of doing pretty much everything from cheating on her to doing hard drugs, like cocaine, but has never shown her so-called receipts.

Malaak Compton Rock & Chris Rock
Although Malaak and Chris split in 2014 and finalized their divorce in 2016, the comedian just started opening up about the end of his 18-year marriage.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Chris admitted to cheating on his wife with multiple women and that one woman was famous, too. Chris said, "I was a piece of sh*t." Well, at least he can recognize his faults.

Kai Cole & Joss Whedon
Joss was known in Hollywood for being a feminist movie director who often called out sexism in the industry, but he probably wasn't planning on his ex-wife to call HIM out on his cheating ways.
In a guest post for The Wrap, Kai detailed Joss' repeated infidelity during their 16-year marriage. Kai suggested that Joss was a "chronic cheater" and that it was "directly connected to his power and influence."

Chris Sails & Queen Sails
The YouTube star, who got famous for making prank and vlog videos with wife Queen Sails and son Chris Jr., admitted that he cheated on his longtime love.
In a video, Chris said, "I messed around with other females. I'm not happy, not one bit." Chris said that it was "so hard" to have people all over the world looking up to him and viewing his relationship as #goals.
Queen then uploaded her own video saying that she needed to take time to herself since discovering her husband's cheating ways.

Jackson Krecioch & Aaron Fuller
This is another situation that gets a little confusing. These YouTubers had a very quick, and very messy, relationship earlier this year. It wasn't long into their relaysh before cheating rumors surfaced, but Aaron promised that he and Jackson "were on a break" when he sent naked pictures to a stranger for money (yes, that REALLY happened). If Friends taught us anything, it was that you are never really on a break. Aaron then went on YouNow to admit that the two WEREN'T on a break and he wanted to "own up" to his actions. He said "I would not for a second endorse cheating, which is why if I would have told you that, and we got back together, it would not have set a good example, at all." At least he admitted to it?

Colette Butler & Shay Carl
This scandal is STILL unraveling. In 2016. Shay announced that his family, known as the Shaytards, would be quitting YouTube in March in order to "be a 'normal' family who doesn't have this worldwide YouTube audience."
Well, the timing was a little too perfect because right before they were going to say goodbye to YT for good, it was discovered that Shay's an alcoholic AND was cheating on his wife. Talk about a double whammy. Adult webcam performer Aria Nina exposed a series of seriously explicit direct messages the YouTuber sent her for months, and there's no denying that he wasn't faithful to his wife. They're still together, though. "For better or for worse," we suppose.

Cole Galotti & Danielle Cohn
These musical.ly stars made headlines with their relationship earlier this year, especially since Cole was 16 and Danielle was only 13. Only a few weeks into their relationship, Kay McDonald let the world know that Cole came to her house to "hook up" DAYS before he and Dani became official. And although the alleged hook up didn't happen while he was in a relationship, Kay replied that "if you like someone, u don't hook up with someone else." The situation was blown up and even apparently caused Dani and Cole's future split.

Austin Null & Brittany Null
Once a cheater, always a cheater. It was first revealed that YouTube star Austin cheated on his wife back in 2015, but the two went to counseling and decided to focus on their family.
Apparently, they couldn't get through it because this year they announced their divorce and cheating was once again the center of attention. In his YouTube video announcing their split, Austin said that he "keeps hurting" Brittany and when he brought up his past infidelity, he said "something similar happened." We're just glad that Brittany can finally look for a love that will love her back.
