Bella Thorne is the latest celebrity to come forward about being the victim of sexual assault. The 20-year-old actress revealed the sad news in response to a fan who wrote an incredibly rude reply after she posted a picture of herself in a suit.

While the person obviously only meant to be a troll, the Famous in Love star took the opportunity to admit that yes, she was sexually assaulted in the past, and debunk the thought that the network had anything to do with it.
“Yeah I was,” she fired back. “So it wasn’t Disney.”

BT received tons of support after her almost casual reveal, including from FIL co-star Georgie Flores who wrote, “You are brave & loved & perfect the way you are. I’m so sorry. & sorry that some loser who doesn’t know you would write something so gross.”
Tana Mongeau, who is one of Bella’s best friends and a reported ex-fling, also sent her love saying, “My baby the bravest baddest most talented girl in the game. Using her influence to spread awareness abt the hardest sh*t in her life. Legit incredible.”
The former Shake It Up star thanked all of those who reached out following her reveal (“Means more than you know,” she replied back to Georgie) and then posted another tweet that seemingly expressed her thoughts on the situation.
